Group Coordinator
Group Coordinator
About this Role
The role involves leading the team, recruiting and inducting new volunteers and helping to develop services for those with, or affected by MS in the local area. We are really keen to welcome a new Group Coordinator who can help us shape and deliver our vision.
Skills and Qualities
If you are looking for a long term volunteer role, and you are an organised and experienced leader, or you’re looking to develop management and leadership skills, this could be the role for you. You’ll be supported with a group handbook, opportunities to meet with other Group Coordinators and support from your local volunteer team and member of staff. You’ll also have a welcome and induction checklist which lists what resources are available to support you in your role.
Practicalities
Our roles are flexible and aim to fit around you. Time commitments for this role may vary but we estimate that chairing the monthly team meetings may take about 1.5 hours. You may also need to attend the social drop in sessions as and when needed as well as being involved in planning the group’s activities for the year. You must be over 18 years of age to volunteer in this role.
