About this Role
We need a Trustee to join our Board to help lead and ensure the continued growth and development of the charity as well as providing professional advice to other Board Members. Trustees must safeguard the organisations Mission, Vision, Operations, Assets and Finances. You will ensure the charity is carrying out its purpose for the public benefit, ensure compliance with the charity's governing document and the law, always act in the charity's best interest, ensure the charity is accountable, manage the Charity's resources responsibly, act with reasonable care and skill, take the lead for your allocated specialism or work stream and contribute and actively participate in Board Meetings.
Skills and Qualities
You must be an innovative strategic thinker, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, demands and deadlines. You will have strong admin skills, book keeping & finance, evaluating & reviewing, fundraising/event management, good IT skills, managing people, maths, negotiating, organising & planning, research and a full driving licence.
You must hold a senior professional qualification, educated to degree level and be able to commit to 4 hours per month.
